DDs are found on the list of direct debits that will lead to the creation of the xml file.
Column A Sequence Type : A value among RCUR/FRST/OOFF/FNAL
It's up to you to select the value, for instance for a new customer, FRST must be applied to the first DD, FNAL to the last one and RCUR to the others. In the case of transition to SDDs for former customers, you can start directly using RCUR. OOFF is used in the case of a single DD.
Column B DD Id : Unique value for each DD
Column C Currency: only EUR
Column D Amount: value less than 14 characters
1.11. Amount format
...
- It is not mandatory to fill non-significant digits (eg "100000,00" may be filled with "100000")
- Up to 5 decimals after the dot
- The maximum length of an amount is 18 characters (including decimal separator)
- The number of decimal places must be compatible with the ISO 4217 currency code list.
For amounts longer than 14 characters, the customer must check with their bank if they can be processed.
Column E UMR: UMR such as in the list of mandates. This is the code that will allow you to make the connection between the DD and the bank details of the customer.
Column F Additional information: Text on the customer statement You can add anything you want within the allowable characters.
You can then start checking. It enters into the OK column all that does not fit.
If validation is successful, the two tabs are hidden and instead, we will start creating SEPA files
If you want to generate invoices
You can generate invoices using this tool if the information does not need be detailed. For instance in the case of a subscription or rent.
On the mandates worksheet, you can display the customer's address and in the list of DDs, you can enter the invoice number.
To try to prevent non-matches between invoice and DD, the invoice can only be generated after verification and entry of DD information. Detailed invoice generation is explained after creating the xml file.
